Good writers define reality; bad ones merely restate it. A good writer turns facts into truth; a bad writer will, more often than not, accomplish opposite. ~ Edward Albee
Focus on the dot in the middle, then move your head back and forth.
Just thought that these were fun and it shows you how deceiving the eyes can be. You see something that is pleasing to the eye, but it can turn out to be something totally different.
Let your eyes look straight ahead and your eyelids look right before you. Proverbs 4:25
This is the newest video that my older brother, Jake, played in/wrote/directed. He's the guy in the blue shirt. His friend, Jacob, is the other guy. God gave Jake a real talent for this kind of stuff and I'm proud of him!
It was filmed at our church. The tall buildings in the background are not real, he put those in. But don't they look real?!?!
Remember that song by The Backstreet Boys (or was it N'Sync? I get those two "bands" confused!) "I Want it That Way"? Well, I never cared much for that song, so when a friend of mine showed me this, I was very grateful. I hope you're not tired of Tim Hawkins. I hope to have a real post up soon, but I've had nothing to write about...
I just got off of work and wanted to check my blog. I'm getting tired of seeing the same video when I check it (below). Here is just a REALLY cute song from a funny comedian named Tim Hawkins doing a spoof on the Free Credit Report commercials.
Here's some more videos he did on his site: http://www.timhawkins.net/video.php
Hi all! It feels like forever since I blogged last so I think I'm going to just give a little update.
First off, a week ago today, I got my braces off!! After one year and eleven months, I was ready! The orthodontist said it was probably going to take two or two and a half years. I guess doing what you're suppose to can really pay off...Well, almost everything at least! LOL! Here is just a quick picture I took after I got them off. I need some teeth whitener...
Here instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it. Proverbs 8:33
In addition to my new smile, I also got a job. I am now an employee at Little Caesars Pizza. I have worked there three times so far, my feet have been killing me, and I've had to deal with some weird-o's, but it's been pretty good. The main thing I have been doing is dealing with cash, taking the pizzas out, and making the Crazy Bread. Last night, thought, I held the sign out by the road (it was kind of awkward at first), and actually made the pizzas. I can now make pizzas, take them out of the oven, and box them in my sleep.
Man goes out to do his work and to his labor until the evening. Psalm 104:23
My brothers have also gotten my parents and I into a show called LOST which it Watch Instantly on Netflix. If you've never heard about it, it's a show about a group of people that are in a plane crash from Sydney, Australia, to L. A. and get stranded on an island that no one even knows about...or does someone? All these people from different backgrounds, lifestyles, and pasts have to work together to survive whatever is on the island, and there is something big out there...It's a really interesting show.
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 23:13
And last but not least, I am going to Rock the Universe tomorrow. I have gone a few times in the past, but those times, they didn't have this awesome new ride there! I found a video of it on YouTube. Check it out! I cannot wait! I showed the video to my brother, Jake, and he said that some parts in the video were quickly cut out because that is where the breaks were. But it still looks like so much fun!
He has put a new song in my mouth - Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:3
That is really all that has happened since I last blogged. So, I guess I will sign off and do some school. Bye!
